Hale Family Woodlands Nature Trail
Welcome to the Hale Family Woodlands Nature Trail! This 52 acre parcel of contiguous woodland is located at our Weymouth Facility and is now preserved forever as wildlife habitat.
Over the centuries, these woodlands have served many purposes under various owners. Thanks to a dedicated effort these woodlands are now preserved in perpetuity, and dedicated to our friends the Hale Family. They will serve permanent sanctuary for a diverse array of wildlife and provide members of a community with a place to connect with nature. The trails wind through vibrant upland woodlands and past several vernal ponds, offering critical habitats for countless species. This trail system not only protects the local fauna but also connects to the Cranberry Pond Trail system, providing the public with access to nearly ten miles of interconnected trails. Enjoy exploring and discovering the incredible biodiversity that calls these woodlands home!
